{"id":693,"date":"2015-10-06T14:25:49","date_gmt":"2015-10-06T14:25:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.teatroarsenale.it\/?p=693"},"modified":"2023-01-23T18:27:52","modified_gmt":"2023-01-23T18:27:52","slug":"diffidate-dalle-parole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teatroarsenale.it\/en\/diffidate-dalle-parole\/","title":{"rendered":"Don\u2019t trust words"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>by Jean Tardieu<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Jean Tardieu (1905-95) was one of the most surprising figures in 20th-century French culture: a pupil of Martin du Gard and Gide and a friend of Queneau, Ionesco, Ungaretti and Vittorini, he was a poet, playwright and prose writer, but also a translator of H\u00f6lderlin and Goethe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Our performance unites three short comedies, <i>Le Guichet<\/i> (\u201cThe Ticket Office\u201d), perhaps the best-known of Tardieu\u2019s plays, <i>Finissezvos phrases!<\/i> (\u201cFinish Your Sentences\u201d) and <i>De quoi parlez-vous?<\/i> (\u201cWhat Are You Talking About\u201d), plus some extracts from various writings and the poem \u201cQuandbienm\u00eame&#8230;\u201d (\u201cEven if\u201d).
